Pre-Requisite
  • People with strong desire to learn and be expert in problem solving should only to participate in this course.
  • Selection of participant will be done after studying participant profile, where needed one to one dialogue with faculty will be done.
  • Should select project which can deliver large improvement
  • Should be ready to do self study after each module to gain competence
Syllabus
  • Syllabus is developed based on tools which are most applicable and relevant to industry
  • Application orientation : It is not just theoretical knowledge. It involves application of methods and tools to achieve complete understanding of learning
  • Facilitation : Project review is done one to one with participant to coach application of tools and support completion of project though guidance.

Program Structure

Modules : There are 4 modules with gap of around 45 days. Each module of class room training is of 5 days. Total 20 days

Exercises
: There are class room exercises on various tools of problem solving. Exercises include data analysis using Microsoft excel or minitab. There are exercises using actual parts, simulation exercises, practical problem solving exercises using parts.

Case Studies
: Various industry case studies includes tools like Multi-Vari, Classical DOE, Paired Comparison, Hypothesis Testing, Box plot and hundreds of other tools. Case studies includes Casting, Welding, Machining, Assembly, Painting, Electrical Parts, Process Industry

Tools
: More than 150 tools are part of this program. Tools not only covered theoretically, practical examples of application of tools from case studies from successful application is part of the program

Videos
: Application videos are part of the course.

Examination
: After each module there is examination.
There is final examination at the end of all 4 modules.

Training Material
: Hard of training material, soft copies of various reading materials and books to gain knowledge is provided.
